Make sure you have all your abilities keybound, and you have mouseover macros for them.
I personally use Grid2, but VuhDo, ElvUi frames or default Blizzard frames are all great alternatives. A lot of different raid frames have a lot of space for customization, it’s extremely worth it to spend some time tailoring your frames for your needs.
Make sure your frames are set up: This mainly means that you see all the important debuffs, stacks and their duration, as well as important buffs such as your HoTs and such.
Since you will spend the majority of your time looking at these 3 things, it will help you immensely having all of them close to each other.
